Alstom Transports faced significant challenges in their testing area track automation due to the complex integration required between PLC SCADA systems and high voltage power lines (25000 KVA AC and 1500 KVA DC).

The lack of real-time monitoring and an efficient alert system made it difficult to track the status of each track and manage power switch operations safely.

This posed substantial safety risks for the personnel working in the testing area, as they could not easily monitor live power statuses or receive timely notifications about power changes.

Kirshi delivered a comprehensive automation solution for Alstom Transports by integrating PLC SCADA systems with high voltage power lines and a display monitoring system.

This solution provided real-time status updates of each track on a central dashboard, which also displayed project details and live monitoring information. Additionally, a speaker announcement system was implemented to broadcast power switch on and off statuses, similar to train station announcements, enhancing safety protocols.

This integration allowed for immediate visibility and understanding of power statuses, significantly improving operational safety. The system was well-received and appreciated by Alstom's Plan Head for its effectiveness in ensuring the safety of personnel and the efficiency of track testing operations.
